In 2008, I joined a dating website and went out with guy. We went out on a few dates and then I decided to call it off. He was really gutted. However, we kept in contact and would meet up every few months for a drink.
Then at the end of Feb this year, he popped up and said that he was going to work in Copenhagen and if I would like to join him for a long weekend. My thoughts were “why not, I haven’t been there before and it will be fun”. So, before he went away, we went out for a date and had a really great time.
When he went to Copenhagen, we kept in contact and I booked my flight for the end of March. We had a lovely time together over the weekend.
Then a few days after I had got back, he told me that he had a phone call from his old company that he did his apprenticeship with back in Germany. They had basically offered him a job in India and he asked me if I would like to go with him!!! I was astounded, yet excited! What an amazing opportunity!
He spent until 19th May in Copenhagen (2 and half months away!), during which time, he arranged a meeting with the guy from the german company to get the job details for India. His contract and employment package would consist of:
rent free, fully furnished accomodation
chauffeur driven car
travel allowance
very good salary
relocation allowance
private jet out of the country in case of any disruption
He said that I would be a kept woman
He starts his position in India on 1st July. I will be going out in August for a holiday and also to see if I like the area and decide whether I could live in there……
