I then proceed to hunt for a photo album.

We then realised what I had just said and roll around for about ten minutes laughing. He said that i had a bout of mild tourettes!

Friend: I told Heathcliff that I would only be out for a couple of hours
Me: I'm sure he's ok
Friend: I can't remember if he has enough food
Me: He is probably sleeping on your bed.
Friend: I better call him to let him know I am going to be late and that I miss him
*** and so she dials her home phone number***
Me: Will he be able to hear your message?
Friend: Don't know
Me: Do you have to dial 1571 to get your messages or do you have a seperate machine to your phone?
Friend: don't know....never called myself before.
***she then proceeds to leave a message***
"Hi Heathcliff, it's me....I hope you are ok and want to let you know that I love you and I miss you. I will be home very soon"

Sadness
Last night, an old friend from school posted on Facebook - RIP Lewis Warren…..
As soon as I saw the name I immediately thought of my ex boyfriend. Was it his nephew or not? My friend was online, so I asked her….and she confirmed that he had died at the age of 20 years old. He was the best friend of her son.
I then called my best friend back in my old home town and asked if she knew...
My mum is coming to visit tomorrow…..wonder how the weekend will go! Will I be able to cope with her constant moaning at me??? How will I deal with it? How will i react?….only time will tell.
Back from a tumulutous journey
I have realised that last year was very poignant for many reasons. It consisted of many difficult conversations, feelings of elation, uncertainity and sadness.
